Christmas Tree in RotundaChristmas Around the World and Holidays of Light. This year, in honor of the Museum’s 75th Anniversary, this beloved annual holiday celebration will be themed “Celebrating 75 Years of Museum Memories.” The Museum’s grand 45-foot tree will be decorated with shimmering ornaments that represent the Museum’s iconic exhibits as well as dazzling silver and red accents and more than 25,000 lights. More than 50 trees—beautifully decorated by members of Chicago’s ethnic communities—will again be displayed throughout the Museum’s Main Floor, and guests will be able to take in various dance and choral performances on the Holiday Stage, as well as special events during the duration of the exhibit. This exhibit is included in general admission.
